RETURNS POLICY

If you wish to return an item please e-mail us (contact@modelrailwaytrader.co.uk) in the first instance. We will then give the postal address for the return.

 

Unwanted Items:
Any unwanted items will be refunded if returned within 14 days, in its original, unopened packaging. Return postage is paid by the customer.

 

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items:
IMPORTANT: If you believe an item to be faulty please do not dismantle or attempt to repair. Just contact us; return postage will be provided by us at our cost, and we'll agree a refund or repair. We are not able to refund or repair items which have been dismantled.

The item(s) should be returned to us in the condition they were received, preferably in the original parcel/wrapping within 30 days*. If it is not possible to return the item(s) in the original parcel/packaging they should be suitably packaged to prevent further damage whilst in transit.

*Locomotives described as in working order are guaranteed for a period of 3 months from the sale date; please contact us if a fault develops in this period. This guarantee applies only to manufacturing defect or component failure affecting the operation of the locomotive; it does not apply to fair wear and tear or accidental damage.

Missing / Damaged / Wrongly Described items:

We try very hard to describe items correctly and ensure you get everthing you have ordered in the condition described. But we are human, and mistakes can happen.

If an items is not as described / missing or damaged, please contact us (within 30 days) and we'll agree how we'll remedy the issue. We will always refund and provide return postage, at our cost, for any wrongly described item.
